Dear Fisherfolk,

 

As of the 5th of October, Ezra and Karen were released from quarantine for Covid. It was scary to get the positive test result. Fortunately, their symptoms were relatively mild. Ezra lost his sense of smell and taste. Keith and his family tested negative which was a huge relief. The virus is real and very contagious. We felt like we were being careful. We still ended up with Covid. When you think about all the loss and continuing struggle with the virus that people have experienced, losing smell and taste feels like dodging a bullet. Please continue to be careful for yourselves and your families.

During our quarantine, we missed each other terribly! We missed playing music for you! So now it's time to write, record, and dive into socially more distanced music and Live Streams.

On October 17 at 7pm central time, the virtual Kerrville Folk Festival will air the set we recorded a few days before Ezra tested positive. We are so glad he lived through his Covid experience or else this might have been a bit creepy. There's a new Trout song in this set! As songwriters, it's always an honor to have a World Premiere at the Kerrville Folk Festival!! They will broadcast the show on their Facebook page, their YouTube channel and their website.

October 20 at 7pm central time will be the next live Trout Stream from our Arkansas studio. New songs! Old songs! Good songs! Badder songs! This will be our first show broadcasting simultaneously to Facebook and YouTube.

October 31 at 7pm central time will be a special Halloween show from the virtual Bugle Boy in La Grange, TX. Costumes optional. We know some people who usually make a big event at Halloween. Hope this helps to fill the gap.
