June 2021

Dear Fisherfolk,

Joy! Exuberance! Freedom! Elation! Still some uncertainty, but an overwhelming sense of hopeful enthusiasm! The world is awakening from hibernation and coming to life again. Please, please, please, please, please let it be OK!! We have played 4 live shows in 2021 and the feeling of being onstage in front of a live audience is so awesome! Such a relief. As corny as it may be, absence truly makes the heart grow fonder. People need people and the gatherings have been like a cool breeze in the hot summer served with all-you-can eat ice cream!

Trout Fishing in America has 3 BIG EVENTS scheduled for July 2021.

On Tuesday, July 6 we will be back on the Internet doing a live stream concert. With the current limited touring ability in this new world of ours, we are unable to cover the country like we'd like to. We do not want to forget our fans or have our fans forget us so we've decided to continue the Trout Stream from our studio. Show starts at 7 PM Central. Grab some popcorn, have a beverage, sit back, and relax to some Trout tunes. Tune in on Facebook or YouTube.

On Thursday, July 22 we will be at Gulley Park in Fayetteville, AR. Show time is 7 PM. If you live nearby, you probably know all about this lovely outdoor setting. For us, it is a return to a magical gathering of all people of all ages from all walks of life. Bring a blanket or some folding chairs. Bring the whole family or some friends if you're tired of your family. Bring a smile and get ready for some new songs and old favorites from Trout Fishing in America. Your spirits will soar. We know ours will!

On Saturday, July 24 we will be at Memorial Park in Siloam Springs, AR. It's been several years since we've played Siloam Springs and we're looking forward to returning. We had some great shows there at the Water Park and concerts at the gazebo in the park in years gone by. This show keeps us close to home and still provides the space for plenty of people to come out and enjoy themselves.

If you want to hear some of the new Trout songs, check out our Tackle Box Series. It's our way of delivering music straight to you from us, skipping the middleman. Boxes in the Tackle Box include 3 or 4 songs, liner notes, and videos of us performing the songs in studio. They also feature some fabulous, creative artwork from Ezra's sister, Susan Idlet.

Stay cool! Stay well! Please excuse our over-use of exclamation points! Life just feels like an exclamation point right now!

Troutfully yours,
Keith and Ezra!
