July 2002

Dear e-Fisherfolk,

It’s amazing how fast July has come upon us. The last two weeks in June saw us in North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, Chicago, Milwaukee, Texas, back to Chicago, and then back to Milwaukee. People ask us from time to time if we get tired of traveling. At the end of a solid week of being away from home, we’re ready to get back but we still love going. In Chicago, Keith saw a Cub’s game at Wrigley Field. We visited the birthplace of Ernest Hemingway and toured the Hemingway Museum in Oak Park, Illinois. In Richardson, Texas, we got to hear Wilson Pickett. It’s a little known fact that if a band starts playing Mustang Sally, Keith is automatically heading for the nearest exit. When Wilson Pickett and his incredible band launched into it, Keith was dancing. Walking in downtown Milwaukee was outstanding! Milwaukee has a new art museum on the shores of Lake Michigan that is absolutely stunning. We had a lot of fun these last few weeks and now we’re on our way home for the Fourth of July and a bit of time off.

In our last email letter, we mentioned that Keith is slowly disappearing (on purpose). He found a Weight Watchers meeting in Illinois and weighed in down a total of 55.2 pounds. The heat has been amazing at the outdoor venues we’ve been playing. Melting is an exciting new way to shed the pounds. We hope if you’re melting, it’s by choice.

Besh fishes,
Keith and Ezra
