Dear e-Fisherfolk:

There was a white Christmas for Arkansas and much of the Midwest this year! Keith and his family 'escaped' to a warm, green Christmas in Houston, but got back home last night to a driveway that was more of a skating rink than a driveway. As we write this letter, there's still a lot of snow on the ground. There are icicle mustaches hanging from the rocks on the bluff and the tree branches cradle patches of white, but the sun is shining and the sky is a bright blue. It makes for a lovely day here in the Ozarks.

Satellite Radio
Satellite radio is a relatively new concept. Keith and Ezra are both satellite radio subscribers and really love it. Trout Fishing in America recently recorded a concert in front of a live studio audience on XM Radio. It will be broadcast on The Village, Channel 116, with Mary Sue Twohy, host. Tuesday, Dec. 29th, 12Noon EST/9AM PST. Encore Saturday Jan. 2nd, MidnightEST/9pmPST.

As you probably know, Trout Fishing in America is not a major label band promoted by a giant corporation. We are supported and promoted by our fans. Our best advertisement comes from word of mouth - those of you who enjoy our shows and tell other people about our music. Some of you bring friends out to our shows for their first taste of Trout. Others have shared Trout CDs with friends and relatives. Radio airplay is a very big deal for us. It means that our music can reach those who have never heard us before. There are new ways that people find out about us. Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter are amazing new social networks that have brought us together and allow us to share so many aspects of our lives. We'd like to thank all of you for your support.

All this adds up to a big, year-end thanks to all. We love what we do and are grateful to be still doing it. We hope to see you this next year and to thank you in person.
