September 2017

So much of what we’re thinking about involves Texas and hurricane Harvey. We’ve gotten varying reports from our friends and loved ones. Some folks made it through unscathed while others have been wiped out. It’s hard to imagine the scale of destruction left in the storm’s wake. “More damage than Katrina”, is the phrase some news people have been using. If any of you have lost Trout CDs as a result of the flooding, please write to us (trouts@troutmusic.com) and tell us what you need. We’ll send it to you right away if we still have it in stock here at the Trout House.

Trout and the Glorious Birds are making their annual pilgrimage to Taos, NM for Michael Hearne’s Big Barn Dance. There’s no way to overstate the good times we have there with some of the most talented musicians and songwriters we know. This year will be no exception.
We’re working a lot this month. Check out our calendar to see where we’ll be. There’s no better antidote for tough times than coming to a Trout show. In the meantime, stay safe and be good to each other. Here’s our newest video – “Love Love”.
