March 2016

hot boiled peanuts

We’re in sunny Florida right now looking at Spanish moss hanging from ancient oak trees as we drive past orange groves along open roads. There are horse farms, hot boiled peanut stands, palm and banana trees, and lots of green grass! It feels like spring.

Dana Louise and the Glorious Birds trio at Kerrville Folk Festival

Our winter weather respite won’t last long. On March 5th, Keith and Ezra will be returning to Peterborough, New Hampshire and performing with Dana Louise at the Peterborough Players Theater. Besides performing as Trout Fishing in America, we’ll be Dana’s backup band for the show. If you live anywhere close, or know anyone that does, this is a performance not to be missed.

If you live in NW Arkansas, or know anybody who does, you need to know that March 9th is JT Huff’s birthday. We’ll be celebrating with JT and Mike Summler by playing a Goodfolk concert at the Fayetteville Underground with the Outliers. The Outliers are JT, Mike, Keith and Ezra. We’ve played four gigs in the last two years, so this is a rare opportunity to hear some really great Mike Summler original music and listen to JT rip it up on guitar. We don’t know how old JT is going to be, but Keith’s mom will be 94 on March the 7th. Happy birthday mom!

Troutfully yours,

Keith and Ezra
