Bass and crate backWe got some more of our stolen stuff back! Keith was reunited with his Sadowsky bass guitar and Ezra got one of his Crate amplifiers back. We’d like to thank Officer Greg Shelton of the Houston Police Department for his perseverance. We’d also like to thank our friend, Walter Bryan, for picking up the musical equipment at the police station and holding it for us until we could come and get it. It had been over 2 years since our van with all the equipment was stolen. What a surprise to see any of our stuff again after all this time!

Grandparents

And then for the biggest news, it looks like Keith and Beth are going to be grandparents. Their son, Kevin, and his wife, Maryam, are expecting the arrival of a son on May 12th. Everyone is really happy and so excited! Beth has chosen to be known as Nana, in honor of her own grandmother. Keith likes the sound of Boompa. It has a nice, resonant ring to it. Does anyone recognize the Boompa reference? Hint, hint…it has to do with an old, relatively obscure Jimmy Stewart movie that was one of Keith’s favorites.

Troutfully yours,

Ezra and Keith

PS. T-shirt weather is coming…

It’s heating up outside, unless you are in Canada! Time to start considering cool summerwear. May we suggest our soft, breathable, vibrant and more environmentally friendly brand new adult T-shirt. Each order comes with the retro Trout fishing bumper sticker!
