Lookin' at Lucky

Dear e-Fisherfolk:

With great and excessive fanfare, marching bands, twirlers, floats, with tossing of candy and beads, followed by antique tractors, we’d like to announce that our new CD, Lookin’ at Lucky, is officially released! To say we are proud is an understatement. L@L (the hip abbreviation for typing Lookin’ at Lucky) is a collection of 12 great songs. The reviews so far have been wonderful. Both of our Moms like it a lot and they’re generally our toughest critics. We’re including a couple of early write-ups from other sources. Check them out. Check out the CD. Let us know what you think. Note: It is not a kid’s CD, but they won’t burst into flames if they hear it! They might even like it, too!

A Birthday Surprise
Keith celebrated his most recent birthday on September 19th in Waco, TX at the Arts Festival. We had a great crowd and lots of fun. The biggest surprise of the day was that Ezra’s old basketball coach (even older than Keith) introduced Trout on stage, entertaining the audience with a story from Ezra’s basketball playing past. Coach Jim Haller told of bed check the night before the National Junior College Championship. When checking on his players, he found all of them missing and unaccounted for. He heard a commotion at the end of the hall. Upon investigation, he found 19 year old Ezra playing guitar in the stairwell, entertaining not only his teammates, but the cheerleaders and players from other teams as well. Coach Haller told everyone to go to bed. NOW!!!

Can you guess what Ezra is painting at the Waco Arts Festival? Obviously, he has no idea. Can you guess who’s kissing Keith’s cheek in Long Beach, CA?
