February 2001

Dear e-Fisherfolk,

We’ve just returned from recording 10 new songs for our next album. Most of the songs we recorded are original, but we’re including a few of our favorites from other songwriters.

After a month off, we’re really excited about getting back on the road. We have a bunch of new songs to try out and it’ll feel good to be playing again.

We have no bad weather stories to tell this time. It’s been pretty nice in Arkansas the last couple of weeks. The worst thing we’ve had to endure is the unbelievable amount of mud that gets on our vehicles when it rains. We parked our muddy van in Fred Bogert’s driveway. It rained and washed the van, but Fred’s driveway was filled with about 50 pounds of Arkansas mud. It should mix nicely with Fred’s lawn next time it rains in Nashville.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Besh fishes,
Keith and Ezra
